Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a self-motivated Civil Design Sales Engineer to drive revenue by promoting Bentley OpenRoads Designer and related transportation solutions across the US and beyond. You will lead targeted campaigns, run product demonstrations, and translate client needs into tailored software solutions.

The role offers remote, home-based work in the US with up to 15% travel for conferences and customer meetings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering or related discipline.
4+ years in transportation engineering or engineering software sales (preferred).
Experience with OpenRoads Designer/OpenRoads family software and other roadway design tools.
Experience in roadway design, alignments, corridors, terrain modeling or transportation infra projects.
Excellent written and spoken English; ability to present to users/prospects.
Ability to translate client requirements into software solutions.
Strong problem-solving, collaboration and analytical skills.
Familiarity with CRM tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Salesforce is a plus.
Knowledge of DOT workflows, BIM for transportation, or infrastructure delivery is a plus.
Authorized to work in the US without current or future employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Sell Bentley transportation design solutions (OpenRoads/related) to new and existing customers.
Design and deliver sales campaigns and live sessions.
Conduct product demos and technical discussions.
Engage prospects via LinkedIn and other social channels.
Capture client needs and propose tailored software solutions.
Build and manage a sales pipeline and CRM-based forecast.
Collaborate with product and marketing for feedback and feature input.
Maintain knowledge of commercial offerings and support policies.
Present industry trends to management and attendindustry events to generate leads.
