Job summary

Workiva, Inc. is seeking a Sales Development Intern to research accounts and identify new business opportunities, using analytical skills to gather insights and support Workiva engagements with prospects.

You will help build pipeline by collecting and organizing account information for current and potential clients. This fast-paced, collaborative environment values your ideas and offers a platform to develop skills in business research and client development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Sales, Marketing.
• Exposure to lead generation or sales development activities.
• Exposure to sales methodologies.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM software.
• Strong ability to analyze and organize data, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to build engagement strategies for potential customer and prospect accounts
• Conduct baseline research to identify key contacts, account information, and potential needs of target clients
• Support outreach efforts with accurate data and insights, contributing to campaign and engagement strategy
• Build knowledge of Workiva's product offerings and understand market dynamics to enhance research quality
