Job summary

Workiva Inc. is seeking a Sales Analyst Intern to support Sales, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Marketing, and Customer Success with data analysis, reporting, and data cleaning.

You will help manage the subscription renewal lifecycle, support revenue retention efforts, and collaborate across teams to improve sales operations in a remote-first environment. Strong Excel, Word, and Google Docs skills and proactive communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program in Business or a related field.
• Strong Excel, Word, and Google Docs skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities demonstrated in roles.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Attention to detail and data integrity.
• Experience using Excel, Word, and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Perform Sales Analytics and Reporting tasks as assigned to support sales team performance management
• Execute all phases of the subscription renewal lifecycle, including notifying customers of renewal, creating quotes, and closing renewal opportunities
• Engage with renewal overlays regarding strategic support for revenue retention efforts
• Promote process improvement for new and existing processes
• Validate and research sales-related activities to achieve a high level of data integrity
• Build working relationships across the organization to better integrate Sales Operations with teams supported by and supporting us
• Support the sales team in data collection and interpretation of data to drive increased sales production
