Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role that leverages teaching skills to help families who requested coverage information, on a schedule you manage.

You will meet by phone or video, listen to families, break down options in plain language, complete applications, and guide them through underwriting while keeping notes in the CRM. Training and mentorship are provided, with contracts involving multiple carriers.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Ability to explain complicated ideas clearly.
• Willing to obtain a state life insurance license before first sale.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Keep learning, because products and rules change and training continues

Who this is a fit for

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting

• Comfortable planning your own schedule instead of following a bell
• A state life insurance license, or a plan to get licensed before your first sale
• Willing to learn a new regulated field from the ground up
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States
