The Wood Agency Life is seeking a 100% remote, independent-contractor life insurance sales agent. You will meet by phone or video with families who requested information, listen to their needs, and explain coverage options in plain language, guiding them through the application process.

Teachers and school staff are good at explaining hard things clearly. This 100% remote, 1099 independent-contractor life insurance sales role applies that skill to families who requested coverage information, on a schedule you manage.

What you'll actually do

• Meet by phone or video with people who've already asked about life insurance
• Start by listening to the family's situation, goals, and worries
• Break coverage options into plain language, then complete the application together
• Follow each application through underwriting and keep families informed
• Record notes and next steps in the CRM
• Keep learning, because products and rules change and training continues

Who this is a fit for

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting
