Job summary

The Wood Agency Life is seeking independent-contractor life insurance sales agents to help families who have requested coverage information. This 100% remote role is paid under a 1099 contract and requires you to manage your own schedule.

You will meet by phone or video with prospective clients, listen to their needs, explain options in plain language, and guide the application through underwriting. Licensing and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching, coaching, or working in a school setting.
• Gift for explaining complicated ideas without talking down to anyone.
• Comfortable planning your own schedule instead of following a bell.
• A state life insurance license, or plan to get licensed before your first sale.
• Willing to learn a new regulated field from the ground up.
• At least 18 and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
