Batesville is seeking an Account Executive to serve funeral home clients across Southeast Indiana, Northern Kentucky, and Ohio. The role emphasizes building trusted relationships and providing consultative solutions tailored to customer needs.

The position targets candidates in Ohio (Cincinnati/Columbus area) who can drive growth, collaborate with internal teams, and deliver value through strategic sales activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3–5 years field sales experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells products to funeral home accounts in the defined territory to achieve targets.
• Identifies customer needs, negotiates prices, and resolves issues.
• Maintains call planning systems and builds consultative relationships.
• Uses computer tools to update and implement sales plans and merchandising programs.
• Quotes prices and develops sales contracts; supports collection activities as needed.
