RiverTech, an Akima company, is seeking a Safety Manager to lead SOH compliance, risk reduction, and program reporting. This remote role involves up to 75% travel and requires strong safety leadership across facilities, ergonomic assessments, and Mishap investigation.

You will conduct safety training, participate in MILCON-related safety oversight, and manage safety documentation and corrective actions to improve overall workplace safety performance.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of direct, hands-on EH&S or related field experience.
• US Citizen required.
• Current and valid Driver's License.
• Current SECRET security clearance.
• 75% travel required.
• Bachelor's degree in safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering or related field.

Responsabilités

• Ensure all facilities achieve and maintain SOH compliance.
• Conduct annual safety assessments using RAC prioritization.
• Investigate mishaps and hazards; ensure timely closure of actions.
• Deliver quarterly safety training via MS Teams.
• Attend MILCON project meetings to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control Plan (QCP).
• Document safety concerns and provide risk mitigation recommendations.
