Job summary

SupplyHouse.com is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety programs across our fulfillment center network. This is a fully remote position with travel to centers about 40% of the year and reports to the Senior Director of Fulfillment General Manager.

We value a strong safety culture, OSHA compliance, and effective workers’ compensation management. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in safety leadership, CSP/CHMM certifications, and excellent communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in safety, compliance, or risk management within a multi-site fulfillment or logistics environment.
• OSHA certification (CSP) and CHMM or similar preferred
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation laws
• Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
• Proven leadership experience managing distributed teams
• Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or fulfillment center environments

Responsibilities

• Own and implement company-wide safety programs across all fulfillment centers
• Lead audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions for OSHA compliance
• Promote proactive safety culture through education and engagement
• Partner with operations to ensure proper handling of hazmat materials
• Oversee workers' compensation claims and carrier coordination
• Analyze claim data to identify risks for Senior Leadership
• Support case managers and escalation for complex claims
• Collaborate with insurance brokers during renewal cycles
• Ensure fulfillment operations comply with regulations
• Maintain compliance documentation with HR
• Directly manage Safety Supervisors at each location
• Foster cross-site collaboration among safety teams
