Job summary

RiverTech is seeking a Safety Manager to develop and implement comprehensive SOH programs, reduce injuries, and ensure OSHA and DoD compliance across facilities. The role includes safety training, incident investigations, and risk-reduction initiatives performed largely remotely with travel to sites as required.

Responsibilities cover annual safety assessments, mishap and hazard control, program documentation, and QA for performance standards.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on environmental health and safety experience with risk management.
• U.S. citizen with current Driver's License and SECRET security clearance.
• 75% travel requirement.
• Bachelor's degree in safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering or related safety field.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SOH standards compliance across all facilities.
• Lead mishap and hazard investigations and tracking.
• Develop and implement risk reduction programs including ergonomic assessments.
• Prepare safety reports: facility assessments, mishap, hazard, ergonomic, monthly summaries.
• Provide quarterly SOH training via MS TEAMS for DCSA personnel.
• Attend MILCON project meetings and advise on OSHA standards during renovations.
• Develop and maintain a Quality Control Plan aligned with the PWS.
• Oversee safety and QA during construction and renovations.
