Job summary

athenahealth is seeking a Sales Executive for Independent Medical Groups to lead the full sales cycle for practices with 1–17 providers. The role is remote with regular travel to your territory and reports to the Territory Sales Manager.

You will drive lead generation, demonstrations, and negotiations, leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance sales planning and pipeline management. A Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in sales are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own and manage full-cycle sales process from lead generation to close.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline for assigned territory.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to early-stage and growing practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve sales strategies and customer experience.
• Travel approximately 3 times per quarter to support territory engagement.
