Job summary

Placed is hiring a Contracts Attorney to lead the drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, including customer contracts, MSAs, DPAs, and vendor partnerships in a remote role.

You will collaborate with sales, procurement and security teams to drive deal velocity, monitor contract risk and trends, and ensure compliance with data protection and IP considerations; JD with active bar and 4+ years of experience required.

Qualifications

• JD required with active bar admission.
• 4+ years of experience in commercial contracts (firm or in-house).
• Experience with SaaS, vendor and partnership agreements.
• Knowledge of data protection and IP issues; CLM platforms like Ironclad or LinkSquares a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end drafting and negotiation of customer agreements, MSAs, DPAs and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement and Security teams to accelerate deal velocity while tracking contract risk and exception trends.
