Job summary

CorVel Corporation seeks an RTW coordinator to ensure safe, timely return-to-work outcomes for injured employees. You will liaise with clients, healthcare providers, and case managers to identify RTW potential and coordinate activities that support successful client and employee outcomes.

This is a remote position, offering opportunities to engage with multiple client sites and contribute to audits, training, and cross-functional initiatives within a national network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in vocational Rehabilitation or related field.
• 3+ years providing vocational rehabilitation services or 3+ years as an occupational health nurse.

Responsibilities

• Direct contact with client, injured employees and healthcare providers to determine RTW potential and coordinate RTW efforts.
• Participate in RTW efforts with examiner and nurse case managers.
• Clarify medical restrictions with physicians and assess impact on work.
• Identify job functions that can be modified and build RTW job descriptions bank.
• Monitor RTW status to increase functional ability before RTW.
• Set follow-ups to review claims where function and release to RTW are anticipated.
• Maintain accurate RTW screen coding and documentation of efforts and outcomes.
• Identify trends with internal partners and develop proactive RTW solutions.
• Assist in audits, presentations, and external customer meetings.
• Additional duties as assigned.
