Job summary

CorVel is seeking a Telephonic Case Manager to coordinate medical care for injured individuals and develop cost-effective, personalized care plans. This remote role requires RN licensure, 3+ years of clinical experience, and strong communication with physicians, patients, and payers.

You will assess treatment plans for medical necessity and cost effectiveness, document progress, and maintain high productivity while supporting CorVel's risk management and workers’ compensation services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; RN licensure in state of operation.
• 3+ years of clinical experience, rehab preferred.
• URAC recognized Case Management certification to be obtained within 3 years if not present at hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical case management with patient, physician, and care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient progress.
• Evaluate treatment plans for medical necessity and cost effectiveness.
• Discuss treatment options with physicians and payers.
• Prepare organized reports within defined timeframes.
• Maintain minimum productivity standard (95% per month).
