Job summary

House Rx is seeking a Senior Pharmacist Supervisor to lead a distributed team of specialty pharmacists across ONC, GI, and RA pods in a remote, multi-state environment. You will own the pharmacist experience end to end—from training and onboarding to daily coverage and standardized workflows.

The role requires an active RPh license, multi-state readiness, and a track record in specialty pharmacy with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license (RPh).
• Willingness and ability to obtain licensure in multiple states for remote practice.
• 5+ years in specialty pharmacy, including 2+ years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Experience building training programs and defining SOPs.
• Proven ability to manage staffing and coverage across multiple teams.
• Strong knowledge of verification, prior authorization, appeals, and clinical review workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and run pharmacist training covering PV1/PV2 verification, PA workflows, clinical review.
• Own onboarding path from Onboarding to Established with clear ramp milestones.
• Establish continuing education and competency validation as workflows change.
• Track training completion and impact; iterate based on productivity and quality.
• Manage daily pharmacist coverage across ONC, GI, and RA pods and travel RPh capacity.
• Monitor queue health and reallocate coverage to clear aging queues before targets are breached.
• Plan PTO, absences, and cross-pod contingencies; ensure coverage.
• Escalate coverage gaps and partner with leadership on requisitions and travel RPh needs.
• Define SOPs and standardize verification, PA/appeal, and clinical-review workflows.
• Identify inefficiencies and lead cross-functional process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations across licensed states.
• Lead monthly RPh meetings; coach and support career growth.
