Job summary

EBSCO Information Services is seeking a Royalty Accountant II to manage the full royalty cycle for assigned publishers, including calculation, reporting, and payment, as well as reconciling business line accounts.

This US-based remote position sits within a 15-person accounting team that values hybrid-remote flexibility, training, and career development within the finance organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business studies or accounting.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Intermediate/advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Access.

Responsibilities

• Review order details and calculate royalties due for assigned business lines.
• Manage monthly and quarterly reporting and payment processes.
• Reconcile monthly/quarterly reports with publishers as requested.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve data and royalty issues.
• Record general ledger entries and perform journal entries.
• Assist with publisher payment accounts with Vendor Management.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain positive relationships with publishers.
