Job summary

EBSCO Information Services, Inc. is seeking a Royalty Accountant II to manage the full royalty cycle for a group of publishers, including calculation, reporting and payments. This remote role is US-based, with a hybrid-remote work model and a 15-person accounting team.

You will reconcile data, collaborate across departments, and contribute to improving royalty processes. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, 2+ years in accounting/finance, strong Excel and Access

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business studies or accounting.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Excel: intermediate/advanced; familiarity with Access databases.
• Strong analytical abilities, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review order details and calculate royalties due for assigned business lines.
• Manage monthly and quarterly reporting and payment process.
• Reconcile monthly and quarterly reports with publishers as requested.
• Collaborate with internal departments to analyze and resolve data and royalty errors.
• Prepare general ledger accounts reconciliation and journal entries.
• Assist with establishing/updating publisher payment accounts with Vendor Management.
• Prepare ad hoc reporting and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain positive relationships with publishers.
• Support technology initiatives to improve royalty processing and workflows.
