Job summary

Percheron LLC is seeking a Real Estate Specialist aka Right of Way Agent in North Carolina to support infrastructure projects by researching title records, negotiating with landowners, and acquiring land rights.

You will collaborate with project teams, prepare legal and closure documents, and use MS Office, GISMO, Google Earth, and other tools to ensure compliance with laws and timely right-of-way clearances. A NC Real Estate License and at least one year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active NC Real Estate License (required).
• Minimum one year of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct negotiation and acquisition of land leases and ROW agreements for construction projects.
• Review title documents and verify land ownership interests using title research packets and online records.
• Oversee land-related legal matters including transfers of titles and deeds, easements, and related regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with client engineers, landowners, and tenants to resolve ownership, easement, and access issues.
