Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Right of Way (ROW) Agent to secure land rights for fiber infrastructure expansion under the Enhanced Alternative Connect America Model. You will negotiate easements, licenses, and access agreements while coordinating with landowners, surveyors, engineers, and legal teams.

The role is 80% remote with 20% travel, based out of Atlanta, GA, and offers a 12-month project window with competitive hourly compensation and travel stipends.

Qualifications

• Experience in negotiating and writing easements.
• Experience in contacting landowners and working with city, county, and state entities to file easements.
• Title research experience.
• Familiarity with easement negotiation and working with landowners.
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time, potentially one week per month, for negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and acquire permanent and temporary easements, licenses, and access rights for electric and gas facilities.
• Engage directly with landowners, tenants, municipalities, and other stakeholders to explain project scope and land impacts.
• Conduct property owner research, title review, and parcel analysis to identify ownership and encumbrances.
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, project managers, and legal counsel throughout the acquisition process.
• Support utility construction projects, including new fiber installations.
