Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Remote Right-of-Way Agent to support a fiber infrastructure project. The role focuses on acquiring land rights, negotiating easements, licenses, and access agreements while ensuring compliance with utility standards and regulatory requirements.

The position is remote with 20% travel, and based out of Portland, OR. The ideal candidate has experience in easement negotiation, title research, and working with landowners, municipalities, and state entities.

Qualifications

• Experience negotiating and writing easements.
• Experience contacting landowners and filing easements with city, county, and state entities.
• Title research experience.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and acquire permanent and temporary easements, licenses, and access rights for fiber and utility facilities.
• Engage landowners, tenants, municipalities, and stakeholders to explain project scope and land impacts.
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, project managers, and legal counsel throughout acquisitions.
