Job summary

Western International Gas & Cylinders, Inc. is seeking a ROC Operator for the Irving, TX Remote Operations Center. The role focuses on remotely operating multiple production units, analyzing control system data, and driving plant performance.

Shifts include nights and weekends, with coverage as required by the ROC Manager. You will monitor, adjust and optimize plant operations, log events, and ensure safety and compliance while coordinating with the field and local team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Process Technology or equivalent preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial) preferred.
• 1–3 years industrial experience with pumps, valves, or turbines preferred.
• 1–3 years chemical plant operations experience preferred.
• Proficient with SCADA and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe, reliable operation of multiple production units.
• Adjust control variables to drive plant performance.
• Track performance data and implement optimal operating plans.
• Start/stop plant machinery safely as conditions require.
• Troubleshoot plant issues and take corrective actions.
• Log process changes, alarms, and communications.
• Complete shift summaries and ensure knowledge transfer.
• Review and release medical grade product per FDA regulations.
