Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Robotics Software Engineer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design, build, and integrate software across the robotics stack, from sensor integration to high-level perception and planning, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of robotics software experience, strong C++ and Python skills, and hands-on ROS/ROS 2 experience. Candidates must be able to work remotely in a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, CS, EE or related field.
• 5+ years of robotics software engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and integrate software systems for autonomous robots and robotic platforms.
• Work across the full robotics software stack from sensor integration to perception and planning.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and stakeholders to translate requirements into software solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code and design reviews.
