YO AI Labs seeks a Robotics & Mechatronics AI Expert to contribute technical expertise to next-generation AI-enabled robotics projects. You will apply engineering knowledge to real-world challenges while demonstrating how AI coding agents can support complex workflows.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on robotics, mechatronics, system design, and problem-solving with practical experience using Codex, Claude Science, Claude Code, and Claude Cowork to generate and validate multi-step solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on robotics and mechatronics experience with hardware, software, and controls.
• Experience applying AI coding agents to multi-step engineering tasks.
• Ability to document workflows and explain AI-driven decisions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve robotics/mechatronics problems using AI agents.
• Design, implement, test, and document AI-enabled solutions for complex systems.
• Demonstrate AI agent applications to large-scale engineering challenges.
• Navigate codebases, debug, develop features, and optimize workflows.
• Document workflows, decisions, prompts, and outcomes of AI-driven work.
• Assess solution quality for correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
• Provide feedback on AI agent performance and limitations.
• Contribute real-world end-to-end feature development and system design examples.
• Collaborate remotely with stakeholders to accelerate robotics work.
