Job summary

Medcor is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for our remote Occupational Health triage call center. The role involves handling high volumes of calls, assessing symptoms, and guiding workers using our triage algorithms. Shifts run 8 hours or 10 hours between 12:00pm and 2:00am, with weekend and holiday rotation.

Training lasts six weeks, with classroom and precepting sessions. You must have an active RN license and BLS, excellent communication, and strong computer and typing skills (minimum 30

Qualifications

Valid RN license and current BLS certification.
Ability to handle a high volume of consecutive calls.
Typing speed of at least 30 WPM.
Private home workspace with privacy for patient confidentiality.
High-speed internet at home (no satellite).
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage a rapid flow of incoming calls from Medcor customers in a call center.
Document each call efficiently and accurately.
Monitor and track individual and call center metrics.
Record shift activities and maintain schedule adherence.
Provide superior customer service to clients and employees.
Complete accurate assessment of symptoms using Medcor's triage algorithms.
