Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in a US state.
• Compact license required.
• 1.5 years of workers' compensation case management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing clinical assessment via telephone to evaluate injury, treatment and psychosocial needs.
• Communicate with claims examiner, client, injured worker, attorney and supervisor to coordinate care.
• Identify barriers to recovery and return to work; negotiate treatment and disability duration with providers.
• Advise on alternative resources to support claim resolution and cost containment.
• Maintain patient privacy, safety and compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
