Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd is seeking a Telephonic Case Manager for a US telecommuter role. You will partner with injured workers, employers, and medical providers to develop a case management strategy that facilitates medical recovery and a timely return to work through advocacy, communication and coordination of medical services.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the United States, with BSN preferred and case management certification highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in the United States is required.
• BSN preferred; certification in case management or rehabilitation nursing is highly preferred.
• Ability to work remotely with strong clinical judgment and communication.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and ongoing clinical assessment via telephone calls to evaluate the injured worker's injury and needs.
• Communicates with the claims examiner, client, injured worker, attorney and supervisor to coordinate care.
• Identifies issues affecting recovery and return to work; negotiates treatment and duration with providers.
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality and adheres to ethical and regulatory standards.
