Buena Vista Home Health, Palliative Care & Hospice (BV) is seeking an experienced OASIS Review Nurse (RN) for a remote, part-time QA role. The RN will ensure OASIS assessments are accurate, complete, and compliant with CMS regulations and state standards while collaborating with care teams to improve documentation and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an active California license.
• 2+ years of home health nursing experience.
• OASIS-E preferred.
• Strong understanding of CMS regulations and CoPs.

Responsibilities

• Review OASIS assessments to ensure accuracy and compliance with federal/state regulations and agency standards.
• Analyze OASIS variation and alert reports to identify documentation gaps and trends.
• Ensure correct ICD-10 coding and sequencing.
• Collaborate with clinicians to clarify documentation and support corrections.
• Review visit utilization to align with patient condition and reimbursement requirements.
• Identify underutilization or overutilization and report findings to leadership.
