Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services is seeking a Telephonic Medical Case Manager, RN, to deliver comprehensive telephonic case management and support injury claims toward a timely return to work. You will collaborate with adjusters, providers, and employers, applying medical guidelines to drive appropriate care and outcomes.

The role requires a USRN license, BSN, and case management experience; Spanish/English fluency is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted compact RN license in the United States.
• BSN from accredited college or university or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Certification in case management, pharmacy, rehabilitation nursing or related specialty is highly preferred.
• Ability to acquire professional licenses per state laws may be required.
• Spanish and English fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine medical necessity of care at all levels.
• Perform utilization review prospectively, concurrently or retrospectively.
• Document case management activities accurately in the system.
• Coordinate treatment plans with employer, provider and adjusters.
• Assist in ensuring appropriate level and intensity of care and return to work.
• Communicate with claims adjusters, clients, vendors and other parties as needed.
• Provide telephonic, empathetic medical resources for injured employees.
