Zusammenfassung

CorVel Corporation is hiring a caring, self-motivated registered nurse for a Field (Medical) Case Manager role in the Tampa, FL area. This position involves work from home and on the road with regular business hours, and up to 60% local travel.

You will manage a caseload of workers' compensation cases, collaborate with patients, families, providers, and employers, and participate in discharge planning and care coordination.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing and an active RN license in the operating state.
• CCM or CIRS certification preferred to support case management duties.
• Strong communication, time management and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide in-person and telephonic Medical Case Management across stakeholders.
• Discuss treatment plans with physicians and explore alternatives.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient progress and care needs.
• Travel locally up to ~60% and attend discharge planning conferences.
• Coordinate delivery of durable medical equipment and nursing services.
