CorVel Corporation in California is seeking a registered nurse to join as a Medical Case Manager. This full-time role combines remote work with on-the-road duties, offering regular business hours Monday through Friday and a chance to impact injured workers' recovery.

You will manage a caseload under a defined jurisdiction, perform home visits, collaborate with physicians and families, and travel locally up to 60% with occasional overnight trips.

Qualifications

• Experience as an RN Medical Case Manager is ideal, or a clinical background in orthopedics, neurology, or rehabilitation is preferred.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure in the state of operation.
• Certification as CCM or other case management preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provides in-person and telephonic Medical Case Management to patients, families, providers, and employers.
• Discusses treatment plans with physicians and explores alternate options.
• Performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress.
• Evaluates treatment plans for medical necessity and cost effectiveness.
• Utillizes travel for home visits and care coordination as required.
