Job summary

Bluestone Physician Services is seeking a Clinical Informaticist (RN) to optimize the electronic health record (EHR) usage and clinical workflows across ambulatory and acute care settings. The role requires BSN or equivalent, 3+ years in informatics/EHR, and the ability to collaborate with clinicians, operations, and IT to translate requirements into practical EHR solutions.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent clinical degree; significant informatics experience may replace.
• 3+ years of informatics and/or EHR build/workflow experience.
• 3+ years in a clinical setting
• Experience collaborating with providers, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize workflows.
• Experience implementing or standardizing clinical workflows and documentation processes in an EHR.
• Strong understanding of EHR data capture and its relation to reporting, analytics, and quality improvement.
• Leadership experience supporting projects, education, or workflow initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME in EHR workflows to enhance care delivery and documentation.
• Translate clinical workflows into efficient EHR processes aligned with goals.
• Use data and analytics to drive process improvement and promote best practices.
• Lead and support EHR optimization initiatives including workflow redesign and standardization.
• Provide education, training, and support for EHR enhancements and upgrades.
• Act as liaison between clinical users, operations, and IT to align practice and system design.
• Participate in testing, validation, QA for EHR updates; collaborate with analytics to ensure data integrity.
• Maintain system security and patient confidentiality.
• Support documentation, policies, and procedures for clinical informatics and EHR use.
• Champion standardization and adoption of best practices across care settings.
• Mentor informatics team members as appropriate.
