Job summary

St. Elizabeth Physicians is seeking an RN Virtual Health Triage Nurse for a 3rd shift (part-time 24 hours) to receive and triage inbound calls, follow protocol-based medical triage, and schedule patient appointments.

This role is part of the Virtual Health Care Team and can work remotely after training. The ideal candidate holds an active multi-state RN license (Kentucky/Indiana/Ohio), at least an Associate Degree in Nursing, 3 years of RN experience, and proficiency with EPIC EHR and Perfect

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Kentucky, Indiana, or Ohio with multi-state compact.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience.
• Experience with EPIC EHR and scheduling workflows.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients per protocol recommendations.
• Schedule appointments for patients.
• Use scheduling tools to match clinician availability with patient preferences.
• Maintain complete and accurate information in the EHR.
• Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and staff.
• Contribute to protocol development and quality initiatives.
