Good Samaritan is seeking a Nurse Educator to manage orientation and professional development for clinical staff. The role emphasizes documentation and EMR experience, coordination of schedules, and mentoring new hires.

The educator will facilitate programs using adult-learning principles, collaborate with department managers, and may assist with candidate screening and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (CCNE, ACEN, NLN CNEA) required.
• Current RN license in the practicing state or multistate license.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred for staff development roles.
• Willingness to obtain instructor certifications when eligible.

Responsabilités

• Manage orientation and professional development for new and existing clinical staff.
• Coordinate orientation schedules and provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship.
• Develop, monitor and evaluate orientation and professional development programs for quality improvement.
• Coordinate community education and organize organization-sponsored events.
