Job summary

Lumicera Health Services is seeking a registered nurse to provide telephonic education, clinical assessments, and support to patients and caregivers for specialty therapies. The RN will educate, triage, and document care within nursing scope, ensuring safe therapy use and adherence.

This remote role supports program goals, requires an active RN license in the resident state, and involves collaboration with pharmacists and providers to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN required; BSN preferred.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of residence; multi-state license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and provide disease- and therapy-specific education to patients and caregivers within the nursing scope of practice and established guidelines.
• Identify and address patient needs related to therapy use, adherence, persistence, adverse effects, and disease-state concerns; triaging to a pharmacist or notifying the provider when appropriate.
• Accurately document clinical assessments, interventions, care coordination activities, and clinical notes in the patient record in accordance with requirements.
• Support planning, implementation, and maintenance of clinical programs that promote patient care and medication adherence.
• Complete required documentation including adverse event forms in line with FDA, client, and internal requirements.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, clinical team members, manufacturers, and providers to support programs and patient care needs.
• Assist with order creation and setup activities (payment method, copay, order details, shipment) as needed.
• Maintain clinical competency across treatments and disease states supported by Lumicera.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, accreditation standards, and regulations.
