Job summary

Merck is seeking a Regional Medical Scientific Director (RMSD) to engage with Urology and Oncology leaders across the United States. This remote role requires a strong background in Medical Affairs and clinical research, serving as a medical information resource while upholding ethical guidelines.

The RMSD will lead scientific exchanges, support investigator-initiated studies, and coordinate with global medical science affairs to advance company scientific objectives.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or medical degree required and board-certified where applicable.
• Experience as a field-based medical science liaison (MSL).
• Minimum 3 years in Oncology or Urology therapeutic areas.

Responsibilities

• Engage in scientific exchange with national and regional leaders in Urology and Oncology.
• Lead peer-to-peer scientific discussions and provide medical information within guidelines.
• Address inquiries and direct requests to appropriate resources; support education and training.
• Support Investigator-Sponsored Programs and Company-Sponsored trials as needed.
