Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a Risk Engineering Manager to lead a team of multiline and property field engineers, ensuring high-quality reports and timely delivery. The role collaborates with underwriting, manages subcontractors, and drives risk improvement on large accounts.

Ideal candidates have a BS degree with 7–10 years in insurance loss prevention, plus 3–5 years in supervision, and strong knowledge of NFPA standards and FM guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree from a four year college or university is required.
• 7–10 years of insurance and general industry loss prevention experience is required.
• 3–5 years of previous supervision or management experience.
• Experience with sprinkler plan reviews, Life Safety Codes (NFPA 101), NFPA 13 and Factory Mutual guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manages a staff of 5 in the Risk Engineering Department and ensures high quality reports.
• Ensures production goals and turnaround time on staff reports meet or exceed goals.
• Collaborates with underwriting and clients; manages subcontractors to maintain quality.
• Focuses on risk improvement with service plans on large accounts and key loss sources.
