Job summary

Sentry in Hartford, CT is seeking a Risk Control Consultant to assess safety and loss exposure for customers and internal teams. You will conduct onsite evaluations, coordinate protective measures, and prepare detailed reports to support underwriting and risk management.

Ideal candidates have a safety-related degree or equivalent experience, 1–5 years in insurance safety consulting, and the ability to work remotely with regular field travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or equivalent work experience.
• 1–5 years of insurance safety consulting or equivalent.
• Ability to work from home with regular travel within CT.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite facility evaluations to identify risk exposures.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for accounts.
• Prepare detailed reports to support underwriting decisions.
• Provide risk management and consultative services to clients.
• Conduct OSHA 10-hour seminars for regional construction line of business.
• Develop and deliver safety seminars and training programs.
