Ascensus is a leading technology and service platform powering savings plans in America. This role sits on the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team overseeing risk programs, controls, and audit coordination to provide a clear view of risks across the organization.

Responsibilities include incident response management, data privacy coordination, governance reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with leaders and external auditors to document, prioritize, and track improvements to control

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of financial services experience, preferably in risk management, audit, or compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; able to work with senior management.
• Knowledge of internal controls, governance, or enterprise risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage incident response program including meetings, incident tracking, reporting, and trend analysis.
• Triage incidents, investigate root causes, and propose preventative actions.
• Support internal risk assessments at entity, department, and project levels.
• Coordinate privacy program updates and responses to privacy issues.
