Job summary

Vast Bank is seeking a Risk Analyst to join the Enterprise Risk Management Department. The analyst identifies, assesses, and monitors risks that could impact strategy, operations, and financial performance, partnering with business units to evaluate exposure and ensure effective mitigation.

The role supports risk events remediation, product/service risk evaluation, and coordination of audits. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this bank-wide function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, risk management or related field.
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a Compliance or Risk Management role in financial services.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors and supporting audit execution.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential risks across business units (operational, financial, compliance, strategic, reputation).
• Monitor KRIs and elevate issues when thresholds are exceeded; maintain risk registers and data accuracy.
• Support the preparation of risk reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
• Partner with business owners to evaluate control effectiveness and track mitigation plans.
• Analyze risk data, develop reporting tools/dashboards (Power BI/Excel/Power Apps) and provide actionable insights.
• Support adherence to enterprise risk management frameworks and liaise with auditors.
