Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Senior Project Analyst to build pacing and forecasting across vendor-led projects, partnering with Finance on capacity and headcount planning. You will design dashboards and reports to provide leadership with real-time visibility into project health, pacing variances, and vendor performance.

The role emphasizes remote collaboration, cross-functional alignment, and continuous improvement of forecasting methodologies to support staffing and capacity decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or five years of equivalent experience in project analytics, business analytics, or a related role.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and modeling.
• Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Demonstrated experience building forecasting and/or capacity planning models.
• Experience partnering with Finance/FP&A on headcount and capacity modeling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pacing trackers to monitor project progress, milestones, and timelines by vendor.
• Develop multi-platform forecasting models to project volume, timelines, and resourcing across concurrent projects.
• Partner with Finance to build capacity planning models, including headcount and downtime planning.
• Design dashboards and reports (Excel, Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Looker) for real-time leadership visibility.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks, and risks in vendor performance and forecasting; recommend corrective actions.
