Job summary

Datavant, a data collaboration platform in healthcare, seeks a Senior Project Analyst to build pacing trackers and multi‑platform forecasting across vendor projects. You will partner with Finance to model capacity, headcount, and downtime while delivering dashboards and reports for leadership.

You will identify risks, propose corrective actions, and support what-if staffing decisions. Remote-friendly role with travel up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years’ experience in project analytics or related role.
Advanced Excel with complex formulas, pivots, and modeling.
Experience with BI tools Sigma/Tableau/Power BI/Looker.
Forecasting and capacity planning experience with cross-functional teams.
Experience partnering with FP&A on headcount modelling.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain pacing trackers by vendor to monitor progress and milestones.
Develop forecasting models for volume, timelines, and staffing across projects.
Collaborate with Finance on capacity planning, headcount, and downtime planning.
Design dashboards/reports (Excel, Sigma, BI tools) for leadership visibility.
Identify risks and bottlenecks; recommend corrective actions.
Support what-if modeling for staffing and capacity decisions.
Coordinate with project managers, vendor management, and finance stakeholders.
Improve tracking methodologies and forecasting accuracy over time.
Track vendor throughput against forecasts and flag variances early.
Maintain documentation of methodologies, data sources, and assumptions.
