Job summary

Datavant is seeking a Senior Project Analyst to build and track project pacing by vendor and lead multi-platform forecasting across our project portfolio. You’ll partner with Finance on capacity planning, headcount, and downtime planning, delivering data-driven visibility to leadership.

The role requires advanced Excel, experience with BI tools (Sigma/Tableau/Power BI/Looker), and strong analytic skills to improve forecasting accuracy while collaborating across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5 years of equivalent project analytics experience.
• Advanced Excel with complex formulas and modeling.
• Experience with Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Forecasting and capacity planning experience.
• Experience with FP&A partnerships on headcount and capacity.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Excellent written and oral communication, with leadership presentation experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, team environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pacing trackers by vendor.
• Develop multi-platform forecasting models for volume and timelines.
• Collaborate with Finance on capacity planning and headcount.
• Design dashboards and reports giving real-time leadership visibility.
• Identify trends, bottlenecks and risks in vendor performance.
• Support scenario planning for staffing and capacity decisions.
• Collaborate with project managers, vendor management, and finance.
• Improve tracking methodologies and forecasting accuracy.
• Analyze vendor throughput vs forecast and flag variances.
• Maintain forecasting methodologies, data sources, and audit trails.
• Present pacing, forecasting and capacity findings to leadership.
• Support headcount reviews with Finance and Operations.
• Monitor downtime and utilization trends in models.
• Maintain data integrity across pacing, forecasting tools.
• Develop standardized reporting templates.
• Support ad hoc analysis for Finance, Operations, and exec leadership.
• Track project risk indicators.
• Contribute to process improvements in tracking and forecasting.
• Business travel up to 10%.
