Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join the US Medical team. This field-based role analyzes, interprets and disseminates scientific data, builds relationships with KOLs/HCPs, and translates insights to advance medical strategy and patient outcomes.

Reports to the Director, MSL. Responsibilities include territory plans, compliant communication, supporting Takeda-sponsored research, and presenting at conferences.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of field-based MSL experience in pharmaceutical industry.
• Dissemination of complex scientific data to healthcare audiences.
• Clinical, research, and/or teaching experience.
• Ability to work effectively in virtual and cross-functional teams.
• Execution of activities within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans aligned to medical strategy.
• Analyze and interpret complex scientific information and disseminate to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced manner.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with facilitation of medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research processes.
• Display advanced knowledge of therapeutic area topics and communicate insights to inform strategies and tactics.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Participate in medical strategy at conferences and communicate insights acquired from poster/session attendance.
