Job summary

Takeda seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison for a field-based, US Medical team role focused on external engagement with KOLs and HCPs. The ideal candidate will interpret complex data, translate insights, and support strategic medical initiatives within the South Central region (Dallas preferred).

The position requires strong communication, collaboration, and compliance with regulatory standards, with up to 70% travel and US home-based flexibility in Texas.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in health sciences is the minimum requirement; doctoral degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of field-based MSL experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to disseminate complex scientific information to healthcare professionals in a compliant manner.

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities are expected to comprise ~80% of responsibilities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Takeda disease areas and products and communicate insights to KOLs/HCPs.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with investigator-initiated studies.
• Collect and interpret medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to refine medical strategies.
• Identify partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Contribute to medical strategy at conferences and seminars.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries in a timely, compliant manner.
• Complete CRM entries, insights capture, and administrative tasks promptly.
