Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team. This field-based role covers NYC, NJ, and Philadelphia, and requires residence in the territory.

You will analyze and disseminate scientific data, translate customer insights, and connect customers to Takeda to advance medical strategy and outcomes. Expect to build external expert networks, support sponsored research, and communicate insights to inform medical tactics, while meeting compliance and travel

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree preferred; Master’s degree in health sciences is the minimum.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MSL in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Externally-focused KOL/HCP activities expected to comprise at least 80% of responsibilities.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs per territory plans aligned to medical strategy.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Takeda disease areas and products; interpret and disseminate complex scientific information to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced manner.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with investigator-initiated studies.
• Collect, interpret, and communicate medical insights from KOLs/HCPs to refine medical strategies and tactics.
