Job summary

OneAmerica Financial seeks an Employee Benefits Request for Proposal Manager to coordinate and respond to RFPs, RFIs, and related questionnaires, partnering with leadership, sales, service, product, marketing and SMEs to craft tailored proposals and maintain our content database. This remote role requires a Bachelor's degree and 4–6 years in proposal management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in proposal management, RFP response support, client service, marketing.
• 4+ years minimum work experience. Relevant industry and/or RFP experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to RFPs, RFIs and due diligence questionnaires for new and existing clients.
• Coordinate proposal development using internal resources and SMEs.
• Develop clear, accurate responses communicating products, services and value.
• Manage proposal timelines and milestones to ensure on-time submission.
• Collaborate with distribution partners to understand opportunity requirements.
• Identify content gaps and update the RFP content database with SMEs.
• Participate in internal meetings to stay informed on product and process updates.
• Ensure responses comply with branding and quality standards.
• Maintain documentation, processes, and best practices for proposals.
• Support process improvements to enhance proposal quality and efficiency.
• Respond to ad hoc requests regarding proposal content and capabilities.
