Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a Radio Frequency Engineer to design and validate wireless networks for mining customers. You will perform RF propagation modeling, site assessments, and network design, collaborating with Solutions Architects and Project Management.

Travel to customer and mine sites is required, with a mix of office and field work in a remote setting. The role emphasizes RF engineering, GIS tools, and collaboration across delivery teams to ensure reliable wireless solutions and customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, protocol analyzers).
• Working knowledge of IP addressing, VLANs, and network protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mine site RF surveys and interference studies.
• Develop wireless network architectures for mining customers (Wi-Fi, LTE/5G).
• Create BOMs, frequency plans, test plans, and deployment documentation.
