Epiroc RF Engineer role focused on designing, developing, and deploying wireless networks for mining customers. This position requires RF engineering, propagation modeling, GIS analysis, and coordinating with Solutions Architects, Delivery, and Project Management throughout the project lifecycle.

Work will involve site surveys, design of Wi‑Fi and LTE/5G networks, BOM creation, and fulfilling RFIs/RFPs. The role combines office and field work with travel domestically and internationally as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Experience with RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, protocol analyzers).
• Working knowledge of IP, VLANs, and networking protocols.
• Experience with RF propagation modeling and system reliability analysis.
• Familiarity with radio modeling and GIS tools like Pathloss/Global Mapper.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mine site RF propagation studies and site surveys.
• Design wireless network architectures for mining customers (Wi‑Fi, LTE/5G).
• Create BOMs, frequency plans, and test plans for deployments.
• Develop RF deployment documentation and work packages for installation teams.
• Support RFIs/RFPs with technical responses and project coordination.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Delivery, and Project Management.
