Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Customer Support Technician to serve Western North America. The role blends hands-on service at mine sites with remote home-office work when not traveling, including commissioning, maintenance, training, and troubleshooting of advanced mining equipment.

Travel is heavy (50%), primarily across Western North America, with a company-provided vehicle for on-site travel. You will interact with customers, support sales, and ensure top-tier service and reliability.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level qualification in Crane Technology, Diesel Mechanics, Electrical, or similar trade.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid IT skills (MS Office).
• Ability to meet mine site access requirements.

Responsibilities

• Commission & Maintain: Install, service, and monitor specialized mining equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose issues, perform repairs, and fault‑finding to keep operations running.
• Train & Educate: Deliver expert training to mine site personnel on safe use of our technology.
• Inspect & Prevent: Carry out NDT and preventative checks to address potential failures.
• Collaborate & Support Sales: Work with the Customer Support Manager on spare parts and orders.
• Report & Communicate: Capture customer feedback and maintain timesheets.
