Job summary
Mercor is seeking a highly skilled RF and Electromagnetic Engineering Expert for a short-term remote contract in the United States. You will tackle complex RF/EM problems, analyze systems and antennas, and apply electromagnetic theory to real-world designs.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in EE or related fields, with hands-on experience in RF/microwave systems, antenna design, and electromagnetic simulation. Proficiency with HFSS, CST, COMSOL, MATLAB, ADS is a plus.
Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Electronic RF engineering or related field.
- Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory and RF principles.
- Hands-on experience in RF and microwave systems, antenna design, EMC/EMI, radar, channel modeling.
Responsibilities
- Solve complex problems in RF and electromagnetic engineering.
- Analyze RF/EM systems, components, antennas, circuits, and architectures.
- Apply electromagnetic theory and RF principles to real-world scenarios.
- Evaluate design trade-offs, performance, calculations, assumptions, and proposed solutions.
- Review and validate technical approaches with rigorous explanations.
- Follow project-specific technical guidelines and evaluation criteria.
